New York and Massachusetts routinely send a higher percentage of high school graduates on to college. In the last four decades, Linda Murdock, founder and Head of Lyndon Academy, has refined, strengthened and improved upon these two models of curricula.
In the most recent decade, foreign languages have been incorporated in the primary years of education. The benefits of multi-lingual education are clearly visible in the makeup of a Lyndon student, and the addition of such has added an international flavor to the school. Fine art and music have continued to be strengthened and enhanced. Fitness, health and well being are also key components in the curriculum. The standards are continuously incorporating new technology and being adapted to a 21st century style of teaching.

At Lyndon teachers are provided with an abundance of resources to assist in the delivery of the Lyndon Academy curriculum. Harcourt text (national version) is the primary teaching text. The Foreign Language Department utilizes various international sources of text as well. Every teacher is equipped with student computers and Smart Board Technology. They utilize web-based material, as well, as a teaching resource inside and outside of school. Teachers are not limited to these resources, and delivery of the curriculum varies depending on the subject content, the student, and the teacher.
