Parent involvement is welcomed and encouraged, and the doors to classrooms are always open. Parents may join us for observation of student lessons or teacher directed participation. While parents are free to come into school on any occasion, most participate in a structured manner and there are numerous ways to participate. The following is a list of ways that you might see our parents getting involved.
- Book Fairs
- Club Volunteers
- Community Service Functions
- Copy Mom
- Event Coordinator for Family Fun (Ex. GingerBread Challange, Polo Ground Party, Muffins for Moms, Doughnuts for Dads, Movie Night, etc.)
- Girl Scouts
- Holiday Visitor or Guest
- Holiday Shopping Store
- Lunch Duty
- Mystery Reader Program
- Special Occasion Teacher Assistant
- Student Store Functions
- Teacher Appreciation Committee
- Uniform Exchange
Parents are also welcome to participate in Parent Only After-hours functions like Corks & Canvas, Cookie Parties, Silent Auctions, etc.
