Scan the criteria below to determine if you are eligible, and then start the application process by printing the HB 1133 Scholarship Application.
The Apogee School Choice Scholarship Funds are available based on the following criteria:
- Students Eligible: A Georgia resident enrolled in a primary public school (includes Charter Schools) or a student who is eligible to enroll in a qualified (Accredited) kindergarten program or pre-kindergarten program.
- All Parent(s)/Guardian(s) must be self-employed or employed by a company, non-profit or government organization. Employment exception: One parent/guardian must be employed; and one parent/guardian must take part in a minimum of 15 weekly hours of community service for at least 36 weeks of a calendar year or serve for a minimum of 540 hours annually. Community service includes and may not be limited to: charitable work for a non-profit; volunteer services for a school system or hospital.
- Gross household income must be below $140,000 if enrolling one child. Gross household income must be below $160,000 if enrolling two children, and if the intent is to enroll three children then the gross household income must be below $180,000.

Based on the level of financial assistance, an applicant can then determine whether or not to proceed to the admissions process.

Scholarship is limited and awarded on a first come - first served basis. 'First come - first served' is determined based on the time of commitment to a seat at Lyndon Academy.
The dollar amounts provided are dependent on the tuition plans available for the upcoming school year. Proof of employment and income will need to be provided each year to maintain the scholarship funding.
