Our New Campus

The brand new building and grounds are engineered and designed for the mind and body. Soft, warm tones and natural light fill the space. The floor plan and classrooms are conducive to the school's unique rotating class system. Each classroom is appropriately equipped for the subject content and its integrated technology. A 1:2 computer to student ratio will be maintained in each room, and new Smart Board technology will be introduced into the classrooms as well.

Special air filters and double UV lighting systems will assist in producing superior air quality and reduce the spread of contagious diseases. A uniquely engineered interior storm shelter will provide a safe haven for students no matter what the conditions are outside. Security cameras and six feet high fences covered in Carolina Jasmine will serve as added protection and natural screening for the expansive play and fitness area.

There is enough space on the grounds for two ball fields. The play area also includes a picnic area, obstacle courses to improve strength and large motor skills, slides, rock climbing walls, other climbing apparatus, monkey bars, see saws, and basketball hoops. On the perimeter of the play area races can be run, basketball can be played, and older students can ride their bikes during recess.

No Capital Campaign Required

Amidst a national financial crisis, Lyndon Academy breathes hope and prosperity into Holly Springs. The school is now one of the fastest growing private schools in the State of Georgia.

The lack of a capital campaign represents just one more unique aspect of this growing school. The expansion and opening of the new elementary campus in February 2010 is a sign of the strength of the school and the success of its forward-thinking educational programs. This second, more permanent, building and campus is dedicated to the students and families who strive for something better for the future and is symbolic of the commitment, will and belief in the future of education at Lyndon Academy.

Plans for another elementary facility, middle school and high school are soon to come. The staged grade by grade growth is paced appropriately to allow proper time for future development. New facilities will be built as necessitated by demand. Parents only need to be concerned about teaching their children a love of learning today.

Phase I Complete

The first of three phases is complete on Toonigh Road. The new campus will accommodate approximately 500 students when the third phase is complete. On February 24, 2010 students began classes in Phase I of the new campus, which can comfortably accommodate 150 students. This is the first of many phases of construction for the eventual pre-k through 12th grade program. Prior to the 24th, the school operated in a temporary building on Highway 92. Their new more permanent home is off of Exit 11 on I-575. The official address is 485 Toonigh Rd., Woodstock, GA  30188.
