students to do their best in an accepting and compassionate setting, which encourages each student to be an individual.
We strive to nurture the spirit as well as stimulate the mind. The joy of learning is as important as mastering the task. Through an interdisciplinary approach, we teach students to play an active role in their own education, to learn how to ask the right questions and make pertinent connections and decisions, and to be global citizens.
The Future Is Our Priority, and we desire to teach them a lifetime love of learning. We welcome you to explore our website for more information about the exciting opportunities offered at Lyndon Academy.

Our History
Founded in 2005 by Linda Murdock with the support of her family, Lyndon Academy began with a bold vision to create an elite, internationally minded private school in the metro Atlanta area. Starting in a small facility in Woodstock, the school launched with a pilot Junior Kindergarten program that introduced daily Spanish instruction and a rotating class model. The success of this approach led to steady growth, with additional grades added each year.
In 2007, Lyndon Academy earned SACS-CASI accreditation, marking a significant milestone in its development. Continued growth prompted the expansion to a new campus, with construction beginning in 2009 as part of a multi-phase plan toward a full PreK–12 program. In 2019, Lyndon celebrated its first graduating class, whose four students collectively earned more than $340,000 in college scholarship offers.

Linda Murdock and family founded Lyndon Academy.

In Spring, Lyndon earned its SACS-CASI accreditation status. The growth and foreseeable growth necessitated the relocation and expansion of Lyndon Academy.
