What an incredible way to kick off Red Ribbon Week at Lyndon Academy! 🎉Students and staff packed the gym on Friday for a high-energy pep rally that unveiled the daily themes and set the tone for a week filled with spirit, unity, and positive choices. The excitement was contagious as our community came together to celebrate the message at the heart of Red Ribbon Week: DREAM Big, Live Drug-Free.
Each day brought a new opportunity for students to show their enthusiasm and commitment:
👔 Dress for Success Day:We started strong with students arriving dressed in their formal Lyndon uniforms, setting a confident tone for the week and reminding everyone of the bright futures they are working toward.
✨ Pajama Day:Next, students embraced cozy comfort as they came to school in their favorite pajamas—perfect for highlighting the theme “DREAM Big” while reinforcing healthy, drug-free choices.
🌍 Heritage Day:One of the most meaningful days of the week, students and staff dressed to represent their cultural roots. Our hallways were filled with pride, stories, flags, and traditional attire that showcased the rich diversity that makes Lyndon Academy such a vibrant community.
🔴 Red Day:Students wore bright red to show their commitment to making strong, drug-free choices. Seeing the campus glowing in red was a powerful reminder of how united our school is in promoting health and positive decision-making.
🎃 Boo to Drugs Day:To wrap up Red Ribbon Week with spirit and fun, students came dressed in their Halloween costumes for “Boo to Drugs Day.” The creativity on display made for a festive finish and a memorable reminder that choosing a drug-free lifestyle is something to celebrate.
